My lifelong dream is to be a traditionally published writer.
In 2023, my middle-grade manuscript, Bird on a Wire, won the Tassy Walden Award for New Voices in Children’s Literature. Past Tassy Walden winners include Lynda Mulally Hunt, Jeanne Zulick Ferruolo, and Janae Marks. I am currently querying Bird on a Wire to agents.
I am a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators and the North Carolina Writers Network. My short story Autumn Shift was published by Outrider Press in their Black & White anthology in 2017.
